Materials
Slight colour and size differences can occur between batches of beads. Sizes are approximate. Every effort has been made to ensure descriptions are correct, product descriptions such as 'gold', 'silver', 'copper', etc are subjective colour descriptions and do not relate to the materials. Sterling Silver items will be clearly stated as such.
Jewellery Care
All my pieces are designed to sustain normal light wear. Any individual links are generally not soldered so they will not sustain unreasonable force.
Please be aware that beads may discolour over time. Silver by its very nature will tarnish over a period of time due to exposure of salts on the skin, soap, perfume, deodorants, air pollutants. I recommend that you use a special silver jewellery cleaning cloth which will clean your jewellery and guard against excessive tarnishing.
Some gemstones I use are porous. The use of certain cleaning products, salts on the skin, soap, perfume, body lotions or deodorants can therefore spoil their appearance if exposed to these elements.
Jewellery should always be stored out of direct sunlight and not immersed in water.
Safety
Jewelshart handmade jewellery is designed for adults, in size and in structure. As my pieces contain small parts they are not designed for children to play with. These small parts can present a choking hazard to young children.
Magnetic clasps are a great way to easily secure bracelets. Some of my jewellery pieces have magnetic clasps for the convenience and clean line. However, those who have pacemakers should not wear any magnetic catches or beads.
